There are a number of options available for Juniors to receive financial support from local, state-wide, or National funding agencies. It is valuable to be aware of what is available to your son/daughter to participate in exciting opportunities to further their growth in Mountain Biking.

CARR RIDER DEVELOPMENT

The club supports the development of its members in all areas which benefit the members and the club. We have previously supported members to compete in interstate events, pursue coaching, and complete a Level 0 Instructors Course.

ASCC RIDER DEVELOPMENT

Previously the Alice Springs Cycling Club has policies to support local cyclists. If you are training on some skinny wheels, check your eligibility for financial assistance.

DESERT SPORTS FOUNDATION

The primary aim for DSF is to provide financial assistance to juniors towards the costs associated with competing away.

Applications are available on the website, or be contacting desertsports.info@gmail.com. Currently, Desert Sports Foundation (DSF) grants periods are in March and October each year; however reserve the right to amend any grant period and to alter guidelines as appropriate. Please note if you fill out your application form and do not receive a receipt of your action please contact the DSF immediately.

NATIONAL JUNIOR TRAVEL PROGRAM

AusCycling recognises the significant time and financial burden on families for juniors to attend some/all major events. This program gives juniors the opportunity and support to attend without parent/guardian supervision, under the care of AusCycling staff. Check out the inclusions and your eligibility below.

LOCAL SPORTING CHAMPIONS

The Local Sporting Champions program provides financial assistance for juniors participating in state, national or international championships. Applications are currently open until 11.59pm (AEDT) on 31 January 2024 for Round 1.
